Transferring Your ECHO+ for Ministries Subscription to Another User
Churches and Organization often go through staff and leadership changes. If you started an ECHO+ for Ministries subscription and need to transfer ownership of your content to someone else for any reason, we’re here to help.
While ECHO+ for Ministries subscriptions are handled through Stripe and cannot be transferred to another user, all of your premium content can be passed to another user through an Organization. Premium features are handled by tying Groups and Feeds to an Organization, so as long as all your content is linked to an Organization and the Organization’s owner has an active subscription, everything will continue to operate as you need it to.
Here’s the steps you can take to safely transfer your Organization to a new user:
Be sure that all of your Groups and Feeds are linked to an Organization (you will need to create a new Organization if you do not yet have one).
Invite the user you’d like to take over your Organization to be an Admin for the Organization. Be sure they accept the invitation they will receive in their email!
After they have successfully been added as an Organization Admin, reach out to us at support@echoprayer.com and we help with the final steps to transfer your Organization ownership to the new owner.
Once they’ve been added as the new owner, you can safely leave the Organization and cancel your ECHO+ for Ministries subscription.
