How Secure are my Prayers?

We take privacy and security seriously. We designed Echo to be a safe place to freely share and engage in meaningful prayer. We want to assure you that the information that you enter into Echo is secure and private.

Are my prayers secure?

Short answer, yes. Long answer, Echo employs multiple levels of security to protect your sensitive information. All data is encrypted when it is transferred (HTTPS), prayers are also encrypted when stored, and many other small details are handled with care. No one can access your prayers except for you and the people you purposely share them with.

Are my prayers shared outside of Echo Prayer?

We do not sell, trade, or rent users’ personal identification information to others, especially prayer requests. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with others for the purposes outlined above.

How can I keep my prayer secure?

As a reminder you should take care when choosing what to share and with whom, since your prayers may be personal. Whether that be using the group messaging feature or sharing prayers.

In addition, we have several in-app measures to protect privacy in your prayers, groups, and feeds. Such as adjusting privacy settings to control how discoverable your group or feed is.

Does deleting my Echo account delete my data?

Deleting your account is instantaneous and all personal data, such as your name, contact information, and all prayer records and activity, is permanently wiped from our servers and cannot be recovered.
